BABAYEV Fikret Hasan oglu. He was born on May 29, 1952 in Shahtakhti village of Sharur region. Artist. He graduated from the painting department of the Azerbaijan State Art School named after Azim Azimzade (1968-1972). He is a member of the Union of Artists of the USSR, the Youth Department (1987-1991), the Union of Artists of Azerbaijan (2010) and the Union of Artists of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic (2012). For many years, as a teacher-artist, he actively participated in the formation of the aesthetic worldview of the younger generation. He worked as a teacher of fine arts in Givrag village secondary school of Kangarli region (1972-1980) and Shakhtakhti village secondary school (1980-2017). In 2010-2020 he was a restoration artist of the Museum of History and Ethnography of Kangarli region. Participated in the V International Art Festival "Nakhchivan - the cradle of humanity" (2021). His works have been exhibited in mixed exhibitions in Nakhchivan, Baku and Moscow. The artist's works are preserved in the Kangarli Regional Museum of History and Ethnography, in foreign countries such as Turkey and Iran, and in many private collections.
