He is currently a professor at the same department. In 1988, he was awarded the title of Honored Art Worker of Nakhchivan AR, and in 1999, the title of Honored Artist of the Republic of Azerbaijan. In 2008 he was awarded the title of associate professor, and in 2017 he was awarded the title of professor. From 1984, 1986, 2009 he had solo exhibitions in the Exhibition Hall of the Nakhchivan Artists' Union.
