Gulay Birben

    She was born in 1953 in Unye, Turkey. She graduated from Samsun Institute of Education in 1975. In 1975-1978, she worked at the Riza Educational Institute. In 1992, she got her master's degree from the Painting Department of May 19 University. In 1997, she carried out the reconstruction of the Painting Department of Samsun Conservatory. In 2001, she founded the First Step Drawing Department in Samsun and the private art studio "Studio Art" in Ankara. She is a participant of individual and mixed exhibitions, symposia. Her works have been exhibited in many countries and are kept in private collections. She is an honorary member of Union of Artists of Nakhchivan. In her works, she refers to the images of a single horse.
