HASANOV Akif Iskender oglu was born on June 28, 1960 in the city of Nakhchivan. Artist, wood carver. He is a member of the Artists' Union of Nakhchivan AR (2012). He studied Turnachi at the Technical Vocational School No. 91 in Sumgayit (1978-1980). He worked at the Nakhchivan Electrotechnical Plant as a lathe coordinator-printer, tool-locksmith and golvanika master (1981-1991). Since 2011 he has been actively participating in decorative-applied art exhibitions organized by the Artists' Union of Nakhchivan AR. “Nakhchivan-95” won the second place in the festival-competition “Colors of my country” organized by the Union of Artists of Nakhchivan AR in the nomination of decorative-applied art (2019). Successfully operates in many areas of decorative and applied arts. He is a participant of many international exhibitions and competitions. His works are kept in the Museum of National Values, the Artists' Union of Nakhchivan AR and in many private collections.
