Nizami Əliyev

ALIYEV Nizami Iskander oglu was born on November 16, 1958 in Garachanli village of Kalbajar region. Artist, art critic. Associate Professor of Nakhchivan Teachers' Institute (2021). He studied at the 84th Technical School of Art in Baku, specializing in stone carving (1979-1981) and at the Faculty of Art Graphics of the present-day Nasraddin Tusi Azerbaijan State Pedagogical University (1981-1986). He is a member of the Union of Artists of Azerbaijan (2011) and the Union of Artists of Nakhchivan (2012). He is currently working at the Nakhchivan Teachers 'Institute (2007) and the Artists' Union of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic (2013). He worked as the head of the arts department (2005-2013). In 2001, for the first time in Azerbaijan, he began teaching Ebru, one of our ancient folk arts, at Nakhchivan State University. He organized exhibitions of himself and 11 members of the studio in Azerbaijan for the first time in the United States through the "Fine Arts Studio" headed by him at Nakhchivan University. Including marbling works: in the USA - in October 2000 at the Western Springs Women's Club, in October-November at the Ford Memorial Library, in January 2001 at the Eurasian Conference, in April at the Center for International Studies, Education, PUC, Nortwest Indiana World It has been exhibited at the Trade Council, Perdue University in Calumet, and at the Entrepreneurship-Trade Fair in May. In the registration and certification of Nakhchivan Monuments (2006-2007) and in the study of the ancient salt mines of Duzdag, he conducted extensive research around the Duzdag and Sust mines together with researchers from the French International Research Center (2007-2013). He was the head of the “Gamigaya Expedition” organized by the Supreme Assembly of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic and for the first time Gamigaya rock paintings were fully registered, certified and the area of ​​distribution was determined (2016). At many symposiums and scientific-practical conferences of national and international importance, including the XII International Festival of Students and Youth in Moscow (1985), Khazar University (1997), the II International Scientific-Practical Conference at Nakhchivan University (2000), Turkey's Kagyzman and “International Intermediate Basin Symposium” held in Kars (2010), “Prophet Huh world storm and Nakhchivan” (2010), “Nakhchivan as the first place of settlement and urban development” (2012) and “Nakhchivan primary city and Duzdag” in ANAS Nakhchivan Branch actively participated in international symposiums (2013). He is the author of the logos of the International Symposiums “Prophet Huh, World Storm and Nakhchivan” (2010), “Nakhchivan as the first place of settlement and urban development” (2012) and “Nakhchivan primary city and Duzdag” (2013). He was awarded the 1st degree Diploma for his documentary "Veteran of Two Fronts" at the Republican Film Festival of amateur studios dedicated to the 40th anniversary of the victory. He is a participant of the II, III, IV and V International Art Festival "Nakhchivan - the cradle of mankind" (2014, 2016, 2018, 2021). “Encyclopedia of Nakhchivan monuments” (2008), “Ancient salt mines of Nakhchivan Salt Mountain” (2012), “History of Nakhchivan” I volume (2013), “Fate of Bahruz bey Kangarli” (2017) (with co-authors), “Gamigaya rock paintings” ( 2020) and the author of the books "Gamigaya petroglyphs (Gamigaya monuments)" (2021), published in Germany. In 2017, he was one of the co-authors of the multi-volume "History of Nakhchivan" in the field of science, and in 2021, his book "Gamigaya rock paintings" was awarded the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic in the field of culture. He is the author of more than 120 scientific and encyclopedic articles, 8 curricula for universities and 6 books (4 co-authors). Ebru's works are kept in many private collections in many US states, foreign countries such as Turkey, Iran, Baku, Ganja and Nakhchivan.
