BABAYEV Murad Elbayi oglu was born on August 15, 1986 in the city of Nakhchivan. Artist. He graduated from Nakhchivan State University, Faculty of Arts, majoring in Fine Arts and Drawing, and Labor Education (2003-2007). He is a member of the Union of Artists of Azerbaijan (2011) and the Union of Artists of Nakhchivan (2012). He was a teacher at Nakhchivan State Technical College (2008), director of the Heydar Aliyev Children and Youth Creativity Center (2018) and currently head of the Department for Work with Out-of-School Educational Institutions at the Ministry of Education (2020). He regularly takes an active part in exhibitions and competitions held at the Artists' Union of Nakhchivan AR. Participated in the I, II, III and IV International Art Festival "Nakhchivan - the cradle of mankind" (2012, 2014, 2016, 2018). The theme of the homeland dominates in his works. His works include "Ancient Nakhchivan", "Cradle of Mankind", "Center of Power", "Nakhchivan is the capital of Islamic culture", "Ancient land", "Village landscape", "Mountain village", "Winter" and others. this can be clearly seen in his works. His works are preserved in the Nakhchivan State Art Gallery and in many private collections.
