In addition to many glorious pages in the history of Azerbaijan, there are also pages full of tragedies and genocides. One of them is March 31 - Genocide Day of Azerbaijanis. As a result of the March genocide, the idea of sovietization was dealt a strong blow, and the people's determination to restore their independent statehood became even stronger. In memory of this day, events, commemorations and conferences are held in different countries of the world. We must not forget the misfortunes that have happened to us and we must not let future generations forget these horrors! An exhibition under the name "1918" was held in the exhibition hall named after B. Kangarli of the Nakhchivan Artists Union. First, our Martyrs were commemorated with a minute of silence. Later, the artist Metin Jafarovon presented the portrait of Martyr Ulvi Valiyev to his brother, and Ulviyya Kahramanova presented the portrait of Martyr Bagir Alekbarov to her father.

31 works of 15 artists were exhibited at the exhibition. At the end, there was a review of the exhibition.
