An exhibition of the works of the participants of the VI International Painting Festival "Nakhchivan - the Cradle of Humanity" has been opened

On May 29-31, the VI International Painting Festival "Nakhchivan - the Cradle of Humanity" dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the birth of National Leader Heydar Aliyev was held in the city of Nakhchivan. On May 31, an exhibition of works painted during the festival was opened in the Bahruz Kangarli Exhibition Hall of the Union of Artists of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic. Fuad Najafli, authorized representative of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, participated in the exhibition. Speaking at the exhibition, authorized representative Fuad Najafli expressed his gratitude to the organizers and participants of the event and said that this event held every two years in Nakhchivan, one of the oldest and richest corners of the Republic of Azerbaijan, ensures our integration into world art, and is a great opportunity to see the works of local artists and get to know them. is an opportunity. Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic has been left out of these integrative issues for many years. Unfortunately, the development in the Republic of Azerbaijan has not been ensured here. However, these issues have been resolved rapidly for almost 6 months. The population's interest in culture, television, and art is extremely high. Today's event is also a contribution to the population of the autonomous republic, it is received with great interest in all layers of the society of the autonomous republic. Then at the event, Mehmet Sağ, Dase Strauss, and Inna Kostina were given gifts from the festival participants, 20 foreign artists were presented with honorary memberships of the Artists' Union of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, and 2 artists from the autonomous republic were presented with membership cards of the Artists' Union of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic. During the inspection of the exhibition, it was reported that 20 artists from Turkey, Uzbekistan, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Russia, Finland - Latvia and Poland, and 32 artists from our country participated in the festival. In the exhibition hall, 56 paintings on various subjects in the genres of landscape, still life, portraits of decorative-applied art, painting, graphics, painted by artists at the festival are displayed. At the end, a commemorative photo was taken with the festival participants.
