A photo exhibition was organized by the Consulate General of Turkey in Nakhchivan and the Union of Artists of the Autonomous Republic of Nakhchivan

T.C. The Consulate General of Nakhchivan and the Nakhchivan Artists' Union jointly "The Sermon of the Republic. 100th Anniversary of Heydar Aliyev's Birth. "100 Years" photo exhibition was officially opened. Before moving on to speeches, the memory of our leaders who were martyred and passed away on the road to independence was commemorated with a minute of silence and both national anthems were played.
Ulviyya Hamzayeva, chairman of the Nakhchivan Artists' Union, honored artist, deputy of the Milli Majlis, opened the exhibition with a speech, greeted the guests and gave extensive information about the nature of the exhibition.
Speakers: Asip Kaya, Consul General of the Republic of Turkey in Nakhchivan, Ismayil Hajiyev, Chairman of Nakhchivan Branch of ANAS, Elbrus Isayev, Rector of Nakhchivan State University, Ziya Zakir Arac, Chairman of Azerbaijan House of Igdir Province of Turkey, Anar Kazimov, Rector of Nakhchivan University, Azad Novruzov, Rector of Nakhchivan Teachers' Institute, Chairman of Nakhchivan Writers' Union Asim Yadigar spoke widely about Turkey-Azerbaijani friendship, the events of that time and today's relations.
After the speeches, honored artist Fikret Babayev presented the portrait of First Lieutenant Zulfu Rzayev, a participant in the April battles, a martyr of the 44-day Patriotic War, to his wife Gulnar.
After the presentation, the exhibition was reviewed and a commemorative photo was taken.
MPs, state representatives, artists, mass media, newspaper and radio representatives took part in the event.
