Online exhibition

The project is presented by the art group “Karvan”.

The exhibition “Phobia” explores the moments when a person encounters fear through art. Each artist expresses their phobia in their own unique style, sometimes real, sometimes imaginary. Offering a poetic and symbolic perspective on the dark sides of the human psyche, this exhibition invites visitors to reflect on and understand their own inner fears. The exhibition “Phobia” is an artistic expression of both individual emotions and collective excitement.

The exhibition features works by artists Javid Mammadov, Ulviyya Hamzayeva, Teymur Garibov, Rauf Shamilzade, Ulvi Yadigarli, Murad Zeynal, Maharram Ali, Ilgar Tahirli, Huseyn Kangarli, Roya Hasan, Vafa Valiyeva, Aynura Mustafayeva, Gunay Beylarova and Vusala Sharifova. “In this exhibition, each of us expressed our inner voice through paint. The theme of our group exhibition has a deep psychological layer. “Phobia” is an artistic look at invisible fears, anxieties and emotions hidden in the silence of a person’s inner world, in the subconscious. The main goal of the project is to convey a message to society, especially young people, by expressing these fears through visual language. We should not run away from our fears, but rather accept them and shed light on their roots through art. I presented my works at this exhibition: “This sound... is driving me crazy!”, “I don’t get enough air! I’m drowning!” and “Don’t be afraid of the divine light! Trust Him”. Each work shows visitors not only fear, but also the human feelings that lie beneath it - the desire to be loved, protected, to live, to trust, to be free. The exhibition “Phobia” was created as an artistic response to the psychological state of society and the inner anxieties of young people. This project turns the viewer into a part of the exhibition - not just a spectator, but also a witness to their own inner fears, - the artist noted.

The exhibition will run until November 17.
