An exhibition titled "If there is an army, you have a homeland" was held on the occasion of the Armed Forces Day

On June 26 - the Day of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Azerbaijan - a viewing of the exhibition titled "If there is an army, you have a homeland" and a presentation ceremony of martyr portraits were held at the B. Kangarli Exhibition Hall of the Union of Artists of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic.

Before the event, the dear memory of the Great Leader Heydar Aliyev and our martyrs was commemorated with a minute of silence. Ulviyya Hamzayeva, the Chairperson of the Union of Artists of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, a deputy of the Milli Majlis, declared the event open with a speech about the importance of this day and the essence of the event. Then, the martyr's father Yaver Orujov, the martyr's sister, art critic Nizami Aliyev, honored artist Hamza Sadigov, members of the Artists' Union: Tapdig Hamzayev, Sabir Mammadov, Elman Jafarov, Gahraman Tagiyev and the teacher of the Heydar Aliyev Military Lyceum made speeches and highly appreciated the event. After the speeches, the portraits of our Shahbuzlu martyr Orujov Elshan Yaver oglu and Aliabad martyr Askerov Alasgar Zakir oglu were presented to their families by the artists and the exhibition exposition was viewed.
