Əyyub Hüseynov

HUSEYNOV Eyyub Museyib oglu was born on 03.09.1916 in Khok village of Kangarli region, died on 17.04.1998 in Baku. Artist. Honored Art Worker of the Republic of Azerbaijan (1980). He studied at the Baku Art College (1931-1935) and the Tbilisi Academy of Arts (1936-1941). He was a member of the Union of Artists of the USSR and the Union of Artists of Azerbaijan (1935). From 1941 to the end of 1949 he worked as a production artist at the Nakhchivan State Musical Drama Theater named after Jalil Mammadguluzadeh. His works are preserved in Baku, Nakhchivan State History Museum, Nakhchivan State Art Gallery and many private collections.
