RAJABOV Rajab Gulmammad oglu was born on April 2, 1923 in the city of Nakhchivan and died on October 23, 1990 in that city. Artist. He studied painting and drawing at the Azerbaijan State School of Art (1947-1952). He was a member of the Union of Artists of the USSR and Azerbaijan (1970). Several plays staged at the Nakhchivan State Musical Drama Theater named after Jalil Mammadguluzadeh: G. Midivani's "Good People" (1950), Jafar Jabbarli's "Glory of Fire" (1951) and others. gave the performances a successful and memorable stage design. He has participated in many all-Union and republican exhibitions. They studied in the same class with the Great Leader Heydar Aliyev and graduated from the same school. During their school years, they mastered the secrets of painting in a painting circle led by prominent artist Shamil Gaziyev. From 1952 to the end of his life, he rendered an unparalleled service in the formation of the aesthetic outlook and artistic ability of the young generation in the House of Pioneers in Nakhchivan. He has made a great contribution to the development of many famous artists. In 1963-1970, he was a teacher of painting and drawing at the Nakhchivan State Pedagogical College, and from 1971 to 1990, he headed the "Drawing and drawing" booth at the Nakhchivan Teachers' Training Institute. At the same time, he worked as a teacher in Nakhchivan city schools 1, 2 and 3. He took part in the Great Patriotic War and was severely wounded in the battles for Stalingrad. He was a veteran of the Great Patriotic War. He was awarded the Order of the Great Patriotic War of the I degree, the Order of the Badge of Honor and a number of medals. His works are preserved in Baku, Nakhchivan State History Museum, Nakhchivan State Art Gallery and many private collections.
