Abuzər Qardaşbəyov

GARDASHBAYOV Abuzar Haji oglu was born on April 9, 1941 in the city of Nakhchivan and died on May 9, 1990 in that city. Artist. In 1976-1987 he was the chairman of the Nakhchivan Organization of the Union of Artists of Azerbaijan. He studied in Leningrad (now St. Petersburg), the State Art School named after V. Serov (1968-1973) and the University of Marxism-Leninism under the Central Committee of the Azerbaijan Communist Party (1979). He was a member of the USSR Artists' Union (1973). He was elected a member of the VIII and IX Congress of the Union of Artists of Azerbaijan. He has participated in many old exhibitions in the country and in other countries (1976-1989). Love for the native land, its historical and architectural monuments, charming landscapes have always been in the forefront of his work. His "Tomb of the Faithful Woman", "Tomb of Yusif Kuseyr oglu", "Buzkhana", "Monuments of Nakhchivan", "Gulustan Tomb", "Kazanchi Bridge", "Karabakh Tomb", "Anzir Village", "Homeland", "City Views" ”Paintings are one of the most remarkable works in this regard. His works are preserved in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Tallinn, Kharkiv, Tbilisi, Baku, Nakhchivan State Art Gallery, Nakhchivan State History Museum, Karabakh Tomb Complex and many private collections.
