Həmzə Sadiqov

SADIGOV Hamza Hasan oglu was born on May 17, 1949 in the city of Nakhchivan. Artist. Honored Artist of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic (2011). He studied at the Azerbaijan State Polytechnic Institute (1968-1973) and at the Department of "Machine Painting and Graphics" by correspondence at the University of Folk Art in Moscow (1978-1980). He is a member of the Union of Artists of Azerbaijan (2010) and the Union of Artists of Nakhchivan AR (2012). He held solo exhibitions at the Bahruz Kangarli Exhibition Hall of the Artists 'Union of Nakhchivan AR (1977), solo exhibitions in Urmia, Islamic Republic of Iran (2011) and on May 17, 2019 at the Bahruz Kangarli Exhibition Hall of the Artists' Union of Nakhchivan AR. He has participated in many festivals, competitions and mixed exhibitions of national, all-Union and international importance. In particular: Laureate of republican and all-Union creative festivals "Artistic activity of workers" in Baku and Moscow (1975, 1977), winner of the drawing competition dedicated to the 93rd anniversary of national leader Heydar Aliyev (2016) and organized by the Artists' Union of Nakhchivan AR “Nakhchivan-95” won the second place in the poster nomination in the festival-competition “Colors of my country” (2019). At the International Exhibition in Belgrade, Yugoslavia (1977), at the International Exhibition in Ashgabat, Turkmenistan (2009), at the Exhibition Hall of the Union of Artists of Azerbaijan named after Vajiha Samadova "Exhibition of Nakhchivan Artists" (2011), at the II International Art Festival in Adana, Turkey (2018), Erzurum deservedly represented Nakhchivan artists at the general exhibition in Baku (2019) and at the exhibition of Azerbaijani artists in Baku "Crystal Hall" (2019). He is a participant of the II, III, IV and V International Art Festival "Nakhchivan - the cradle of humanity" (2014, 2016, 2018, 2021). His works have been exhibited in many private collections in foreign countries such as Russia, Yugoslavia, Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan, Iran, Turkey, Baku and Nakhchivan, Nakhchivan State History Museum, Nakhchivan State Art Gallery, Jalil Mammadguluzadeh Nakhchivan AR Literature Museum, Huseyn Javid's House Museum, National Values In the Museum, Memorial Museum, Karabakh Tomb Complex, Sharur District History and Ethnography Museum, etc. preserved in places.
