HUSEYNOV Eyyub Museyib oglu was born on 03.09.1916 in Khok village of Kangarli region, died on 17.04.1998 in Baku. Artist. Honored Art Worker of the Republic of Azerbaijan (1980). He studied at the Baku Art College (1931-1935) and the Tbilisi Academy of Arts (1936-1941). He was a member of the Union of Artists of the USSR and the Union of Artists of Azerbaijan (1935). From 1941 to the end of 1949 he worked as a production artist at the Nakhchivan State Musical Drama Theater named after Jalil Mammadguluzadeh. (1944, 1949), Gurban Musayev's "Fortress of the East" (1944), Vasily Shkvarkin's "Merry Song" (1944), Maharram Alizade's "Clear Eyes", "Golden Rose" (1945), Jafar Jabbarli's "Clear" (1945), Uzeyir Hajibeyov's "Mashadi Ibad" (1946), "Shah Abbas and Khurshidbanu" (1947), "Asli and Karam" (1949), Konstantin Simonov's "Under the Chestnut Trees of Prague" (1946), Carlo Goldin's "A Servant of Two Aghas" ( 1946), Mirza Fatali Akhundov's "The Bear Robber" (1946), Abulfaz Abbasguliyev's "Sunrise" (1947), Zulfugar Hajibeyov's "Fifty Years Young" (1947), Alexander Surkov's "Far from Stalingrad" (1947), Jean-Baptiste Moliere's " Danden ”(1948), Suleyman Sani Akhundov's“ Lachin Yuvasi ”(1948), Sabit Rahman's“ Aydinlig ”(1949) and others. From 1949 to the end of his life he was engaged in pedagogical activities at the Azerbaijan State Art School named after Azim Azimzade (1949-1998). From 1956 to 1965 he worked as the director of that school. In the domestic genre: “Nakhchivan in the salt mine” (1947), “Evening in the steppe” (1982), in the genre of landscape: “Baku of the Order”, “Sea”, “Nakhchivan in the afternoon”, “Landscape of Shahbuz river” (1957), “ After the rain ”(1972),“ Oil stones ”(1979), plot compositions:“ Discussion of the mausoleum of the believer ”,“ In the Araz valley ”(1984),“ At the border ”(1985) and other works, many historical-revolutionary compositions and is the author of portraits. His works are preserved in Baku, Nakhchivan State History Museum, Nakhchivan State Art Gallery and many private collections.
