Məhəmmədəli Ələkbərov

ALAKBAROV Mahammadali Shamil oglu 03.03.1954 in Babek district. He was born in Gahab village and died on 20.12. He died in that village in 2020. Artist-painter Honored Artist of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic (2011). He studied at the Azerbaijan State Art School named after Azim Azimzade (1971-1975) and the Moscow Higher School of Art named after Strogonov (1980-1985). Member of the Union of Artists of Azerbaijan (1988) and the Union of Artists of Nakhchivan AR (2012). In 1998, he had a solo exhibition at the Cultural Center of the Nakhchivan Consulate General of the Republic of Turkey, and in 2008, 2012, and 2014 at the Exhibition Hall of the Nakhchivan Artists' Union. In “Tobav” Art Gallery (1995), “Bashag” Art Gallery (1996-2000) in Ankara, Turkey. “Ilhan” Art Gallery (1996), “Three Nine” Art Gallery (1997), “Dam” Art Gallery (2000-2006). “Turksav” Art Gallery (2000), “City Club” Art Gallery (2000), “Nefertiti” Art Gallery (2007), Van 100th University (1998), Istanbul, “Perpa” Shopping Center (2000), Mersin He has had solo exhibitions at the Gorsal Art Gallery (2001) and the Mado Art Gallery in Bursa (2006). “Nakhchivan-cradle of humanity” I, II, III and IV (2012, 2014, 2016, 2018) International Art Festivals held in Nakhchivan and “Nakhchivan-95” festival-competition “Colors of my country” organized by Nakhchivan AR Artists Union in 2019 was a participant. He has participated in mixed exhibitions in many foreign countries.
