ALAKBAROV Mahammadali Shamil oglu 03.03.1954 in Babek district. He was born in Gahab village and died on 20.12. He died in that village in 2020. Artist-painter Honored Artist of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic (2011). He studied at the Azerbaijan State Art School named after Azim Azimzade (1971-1975) and the Moscow Higher School of Art named after Strogonov (1980-1985). Member of the Union of Artists of Azerbaijan (1988) and the Union of Artists of Nakhchivan AR (2012). In 1998, he had a solo exhibition at the Cultural Center of the Nakhchivan Consulate General of the Republic of Turkey, and in 2008, 2012, and 2014 at the Exhibition Hall of the Nakhchivan Artists' Union.
