ISMAYILOV Mammadali Namazali oglu was born on 20.06.1933 in Ordubad district and died on 21.08.2010 in Baku. Artist. Honored Artist of the Republic of Azerbaijan (1992). He studied at the Azerbaijan State Art School named after Azim Azimzade (1959-1964). He was a member of the USSR Artists' Union (1970). He had a solo exhibition in Nakhchivan in 1970 and in Baku in 1990. He has participated in many mixed exhibitions abroad. Including works: Japan, France, Germany, Russia, Ukraine, Moldova, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Georgia. Turkey has been exhibited in Iran and other countries (1986-2010). Although he is mainly known as a landscape artist, he has a special place in the history of Azerbaijani art with his excellent works in other genres. His works are remembered for the simplicity and emotionality of the descriptive language.
