Nəriman Əliyev

ALIYEV Nariman Alibey oglu was born on August 14, 1948 in the city of Nakhchivan and died on January 26, 2002 in that city. Artist. He studied at the Azerbaijan State Art School named after Azim Azimzade (1966-1972). He was a member of the Union of Artists of the USSR and Azerbaijan (1982). He worked as a production artist at the Nakhchivan Musical Drama Theater named after J. Mammadguluzade (1972-1975). He took an active part in all exhibitions organized by the Artists' Union of Nakhchivan AR (1987-2002). In 2000, he held a solo exhibition called "Faryad" in the exhibition hall of the Nakhchivan Artists' Union. He participated in exhibitions in Leningrad (1983), Igdir (2001), Baku (2001, 2002) and other cities of Azerbaijan. In the artist's work, he masterfully described the charming landscapes, historical and architectural monuments of his native Nakhchivan. His works include: “Snake Mountain”, “Evening”, “Cross Mountain”, “Mountain Songs”, “Native Mountains”, “Alinja Bridge”, “Historical Monument”, “Landscape”, “Naimi's Tomb”, “Memory”, “ Still life ”,“ Landscape ”,“ Autumn ”,“ Horses ”,“ Batabat road ”and his works can be shown. The artist's works are preserved in the Nakhchivan State History Museum, Nakhchivan State Art Gallery, Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic Museum of Literature named after Jalil Mammadguluzadeh, Jamshid Nakhchivanski Museum, Jalil Mammadguluzadeh Memorial Museum in Jalilkend, Julfa District History and Ethnography Museum and many private collections.
