İsmayıl Əliyev

ALIYEV Ismayil Hasan oglu was born on December 3, 1958 in the city of Nakhchivan and died on June 28, 2007 in that city. Artist-painter. He studied at the Azerbaijan State Art School named after Azim Azimzade (1979). He was a member of the Union of Artists of Azerbaijan (1987). He took an active part in the exhibitions of the Union of Artists of Nakhchivan AR (2000-2007). His works are dominated by his own compositions and works in the genre of portraiture. Examples of his portraits are Ajami Abubakr oglu Nakhchivani, Nasraddin Tusi, Azim Azimzade, Jalil Mammadguluzade, Shah Ismail Khatai, Huseyn Javid and Bahruz Kangarli. His works are preserved in the Nakhchivan State Art Gallery, the Museum of Literature of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic named after Jalil Mammadguluzade, the Bahruz Kangarli Museum and many private collections.
