Sabir Qədimov

GADIMOV Sabir Firudin oglu was born on March 30, 1937 in the city of Nakhchivan and died on November 30, 1985 in that city. Artist. Honored Art Worker of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic (1970). He studied at the Faculty of Fine Arts of the People's University named after Krupskaya in Moscow (1961-1966). He was a member of the Union of Artists of the USSR and the Union of Artists of Azerbaijan (1970). He was the head of the Youth Department of the Nakhchivan Organization of the Union of Artists of Azerbaijan (1971-1985). He worked as a chief artist in the State Committee for Television and Radio Broadcasting of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic (1964-1985). He has participated in mixed exhibitions in foreign countries such as Turkey, Italy, Bulgaria, many allied republics of the former USSR, Baku and Nakhchivan. He created many paintings with portrait, still life and thematic compositions. Among them: “Ashabi Kahf” (1967), “Spring” (1967), “Tufan” (1968), “Ordubad mountains” (1969), “Winter, old sailor” (1970), “Golden autumn”, “Rocks” (1971), “Spring in Nakhchivan” (1973), “Landscapes of Turkey” (1974), “Under the Clear Sky”, “Winter Harmony”, “Unusual Rock” (1975), “Karachanag”, “Horseshoes”, "Tomb of Yusif Kuseyr oglu", "Araz HPP" (1980), "My mother" (1983), "A series of paintings dedicated to H.Javid" (1981-1982), "Mother's love", "Gamigaya", "The first artists" , “Goygol”, “Zorkhana”, “Ilanli dag”, “Nahajir”, (1983), “Koroglu”, “Vaykhir”, “Nahajir”, “Ancient Ordubad”, “Ancient Julfa”, “Chinarda slaughterhouse”, “ Aza bridge ”,“ Hirmanda ”,“ Gilan in the Middle Ages ”(1985) and others. His works can be exemplified. Sabir Gadimov staged the play "Yad gizi" by Orkhan Kamal (1984), staged at the Nakhchivan State Musical Drama Theater named after Jalil Mammadguluzade. His works have been exhibited in Russia, Ukraine, Moldova, Georgia, Belarus, Turkey, Italy, Bulgaria, Baku, Nakhchivan State History Museum, Nakhchivan State Art Gallery, Jalil Mammadguluzadeh Nakhchivan Museum of Literature, Huseyn Javid's House Museum, Ordubad District History and Ethnography Museum. , Is preserved in the Julfa District Museum of History and Ethnography and in many private collections.
