HAMZAYEV Tapdig Huseyn oglu was born on 01.01.1956 in Taldy Kurgan region of Kirov district of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Artist, master of forging on iron. He studied at the Technical School of Technical Art No. 84 in Baku, specializing in metal forging - decorator (1972-1974) and Sumgayit Technical College of Chemical Technology (1979-1981). He is a member of the Artists' Union of Nakhchivan AR (2013). He worked as an artist-decorator in the Industrial-Aesthetic Department of the Synthetic Rubber Plant in Sumgayit (1974-1981). He served in a special intelligence unit in Germany (1976-1978), in a crew of a military helicopter squadron in the USSR Army (1981-1992) and in the Armed Forces of the Republic of Azerbaijan (1992-2002). He is a retired officer of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces (2002). He is an active participant in all events and exhibitions organized by the Artists' Union of Nakhchivan AR. He is the author of the logo “Nakhchivan is the Capital of Islamic Culture” (2018). He is a participant of the III and V International Art Festival "Nakhchivan - the cradle of humanity" (2018, 2021). “Nakhchivan-95” won the third place in the poster nomination in the festival-competition “Colors of my country” organized by the Union of Artists of Nakhchivan AR (2019). His works are preserved in private collections in the Nakhchivan State History Museum, Nakhchivan State Art Gallery and many foreign countries.
