ISMAYILOV Javid Veli oglu was born on January 25, 1978 in the city of Baku. Artist. Honored Artist of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic (2010). He studied at Nakhchivan State University with a bachelor's degree in fine arts and drawing (1999-2003) and a master's degree in pedagogical theory and history (2003-2006). He is a member of the Union of Artists of Azerbaijan (2010) and the Union of Artists of Nakhchivan AR (2012). He is currently the Dean of the Faculty of Arts at Nakhchivan State University (2020). He is an associate professor of the Department of Fine Arts. He worked as a teacher, senior teacher (2010-2018) at the Department of Architecture and Fine Arts of the same university, and as the head of the Department of Art at the Nakhchivan Teachers' Institute (2019-2020). Works in the United States - October 2000 at the Western Springs Women's Club, October-November at the Ford Memorial Library, January 2001 at the Eurasian Conference, April at the Center for International Studies, Education, PUC, Northwest Indiana World Trade Council, Perdue The University was exhibited at Calumet and at the Entrepreneurship-Trade Fair in May. He has held solo exhibitions at Nakhchivan State University (2004), Nakhchivan Artists' Union (2010, 2012), Bolu (2010) and Baku (2019). He is a participant of the I, II, III, IV and V International Art Festivals "Nakhchivan - the cradle of mankind" organized by the Artists' Union of Nakhchivan AR (2012, 2014, 2016, 2018, 2021). He has participated in many mixed exhibitions and festivals in our country and abroad. In particular: Firat University of Turkey (2003), Kars-Qafqaz University (2006), Festival of Young Artists of the Islamic Republic of Iran (2007), Erzurum Festival (2009) and an exhibition in Malaysia (2011). “Nakhchivan-95” organized by Nakhchivan Artists Union won the 3rd place in the painting-nomination in the festival-competition “Colors of my country” (2019). His works are preserved in foreign countries such as the United States, Turkey, Iran, Turkmenistan, Malaysia, Nakhchivan, in the Heydar Aliyev Museum, Nakhchivan State Art Gallery, Memorial Museum, Jalil Mammadguluzadeh House Museum, Baku and many private collections.
