Fizzə Quliyeva

GULIYEVA Fizza Gulu gizi was born on February 25, 1987 in the city of Nakhchivan. Artist. He graduated from Nakhchivan State University with a bachelor's degree in "Fine Arts and Drawing Teacher" (2004-2008) and a master's degree in "History and Theory of Fine Arts" (2009-2011). He is a member of the Union of Artists of Azerbaijan (2012) and the Union of Artists of Nakhchivan AR (2013). He worked as the director of the “University World” museum of Nakhchivan State University (2011-2013) and the head of the Department of Fine and Decorative-Applied Arts of the Institute of Art, Language and Literature of the Nakhchivan Branch of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences (2013-2021). Head of Nakhchivan State History Museum. He is the author of 3 books, 80 scientific and journalistic articles. In 2015 in the exhibition hall of the Union of Artists of Nakhchivan AR named after B. Kangarli. He held his first solo exhibition. “Strange Man”, “School of Danabash village”, “Chained Prometheus” (2011, 2013), “Ignorance” (2015) and “Tea set” at Nakhchivan State Musical Drama Theater named after Jalil Mammadguluzadeh, staged by Nakhchivan State University Student Theater Studio 2017) was a founding artist of his works. Fizza Guliyeva has won many competitions among students and youth. In particular: 1st place in the painting competition "Beauty through the eyes of youth" (2004), 1st place in the exhibition competition of young artists "Azerbaijan through the eyes of the young generation" (2007), students in connection with the 20th anniversary of the January 20 tragedy 1st place in the drawing competition (2009, 2010), 1st place in the drawing competition among students in connection with the "March 31, the day of the genocide of Azerbaijanis" (2010). 1st place in the drawing competition among students dedicated to the International Student Youth Week on November 10-17 (2010), 1st place in the drawing competition among students on the occasion of the 19th anniversary of the Khojaly tragedy on February 26 (2011). He won the 1st place in the exhibition-competition “My Country” dedicated to the 90th anniversary of Nakhchivan AR (2014) and the 1st place in the “Skilled Hands” Festival held in Nakhchivan AR (2016). In 2010 he was awarded the title of the best young artist of the year in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, and in 2016 he was awarded the title of the most active young artist of the year. Participated in the V International Art Festival "Nakhchivan - the cradle of humanity" (2021). His works are preserved in the Memorial Museum in Nakhchivan and in many private collections.
