Əlövsət Allahverdiyev

ALLAHVERDIYEV Alovsat Errahman oglu. He was born on February 12, 1957 in Yukhari Uzunoba village of Babek region. Artist, graphic artist. He graduated from the Azerbaijan State School of Art named after Azim Azimzade (1975-1981) and the Faculty of Art of the Azerbaijan State Institute of Arts named after Mirza Aga Aliyev, majoring in Industrial Graphics (1983-1988). He is a member of the Union of Artists of Azerbaijan (1997) and the Union of Artists of Nakhchivan AR (2012). He is a teacher at the Department of Fine Arts of Nakhchivan State University. While still a student, he took second place at the 1982 All-Union Poster Exhibition "Guarding Peace and Socialism" in Baku. He took an active part in exhibitions in Minsk, Tallinn, Moscow (1986), Tbilisi, Ashgabat (1989) and other cities. He is the author of the logo of Nakhchivan University. “Nakhchivan-95” won the second place in the poster nomination in the festival-competition “Colors of my country” organized by the Union of Artists of Nakhchivan AR (2019). He regularly participates in exhibitions held by the Artists' Union of Nakhchivan AR. Although he works mainly in the poster genre, his works are dominated by the portrait genre. In 1992-2000 he worked as a portrait painter in Antalya, Turkey. Portraits of Nakhchivan, Baku, Tbilisi, Istanbul, Ankara, Bodrum, Antalya, Cappadocia, Konya, Nigde, Diyarbakir, Kastamonu, Urfa, Erzurum, Kars, Adiyaman, Bursa, Izmir, Ushak, Mus, Denizli, Moscow, St. Petersburg, Yekaterinburg , Is kept in private collections in Kiev, Kharkiv, Tallinn, Samara, Kazan, Orenburg, Paris, Vienna, Rome, Oslo, Amsderdam, Berlin and many European cities.
