January 22 127 years have passed since the birth of the first realist brush artist Bahruz Kangarli, one of the prominent figures of the national art of Azerbaijan

On this occasion, members of the Artists 'Union of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic laid flowers at the monument to the artist in the Artists' Park named after Bahruz Kangarli in Nakhchivan. Then the museum was visited.

During the acquaintance with the museum, it was reported that the works of Bahruz Kangarli, the founder of realism in Azerbaijani painting, have a rich lyricism and optimism. This is due to the artist's unquenchable love for his homeland and the beauties of nature.

It was noted that the Bahruz Kangarli Museum was established by the Order of the Chairman of the Supreme Assembly of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic dated May 22, 2001.
