On April 25, 2019, an event entitled "Outstanding artist Ibrahim Safiyev" was held at the Nakhchivan Studies Center of Nakhchivan AR.

The event was opened by Emin Mammadov, Scientific Secretary of the Center for Nakhchivan Studies of the Supreme Assembly of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic. , Elkhan Mammadov (Yurdoglu) spoke about the life and work of the famous artist, the state care for the work of Ibrahim Safi.
The event was attended by employees of the Nakhchivan Studies Center, the Ministry of Culture, the Artists 'Union and students of the Nakhchivan Teachers' Institute majoring in Fine Arts and Teaching.
At the end of the event, an exhibition of books dedicated to Nakhchivan artists was held.
