"Honored Artist" of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic Leyla Azimbayova's solo exhibition "Different" opened

On January 14, the Bahruz Kangarli Exhibition Hall of the Artists' Union of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic opened a solo exhibition of Leyla Azimbayova, Honored Artist of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, entitled "Different".

Chairman of the Supreme Assembly of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic Vasif Talibov attended the opening of the exhibition.

Chairman of the Union of Artists of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, Honored Artist of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ulviya Hamzayeva said that all conditions were created for the activities of the Union of Artists of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic. By the orders of the Chairman of the Supreme Assembly of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, the 40th and 50th anniversaries of the Artists' Union were celebrated, and a new building was put into operation. All this is not only an expression of care, but also increases the responsibility of artists of the autonomous republic. To date, about 250 artists from 36 countries have participated in the Nakhchivan-Cradle of Humanity International Art Festivals. Of course, this is another expression of the value given to art in Nakhchivan. It is gratifying that today the Nakhchivan Art School has provided a legacy, young and talented artists have grown up, and their creativity has been comprehensively stimulated. Dozens of exhibitions and hundreds of new works are opened at the Artists' Union every year. The exhibition of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic "Honored Artist" Leyla Azimbayova "In contrast" is one of such exhibitions. The artist's works are created in a unique style. In his still lifes, he demonstrates the things we see and use in our lives through the prism of his own vision, with deep shades of content. The artist's works feature bold color choices and powerful brush strokes that dominate. Leyla Azimbayova's "Dolls", "Weddings of that time", "Today's weddings", "Sarvar", "Gulendam" and similar works are created in her own way.
