Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic was represented at the international event

Recently, an international event was held in London with the participation of state institutions of Europe and the CIS, international professional accounting organizations, representatives of leading companies, leading specialists in accounting, taxation, financial control and other areas of the economy.
The purpose of the event was to discuss the changes made to the international standards of financial reports, to obtain new information in the field of finance, internal control, and accounting.
Employees of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Ministry of Education, the State Oil Fund, the Ministry of Finance of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, "Azerenergy" Open Joint Stock Company, Azerishiq OJSC and the Association of Professional Financial Managers of Azerbaijan participated in the event, which was represented by a limited number of representatives from each country. .

The organizer of the event - the director of "The Institute of Certified Bookkeepers" Garry Carter made an introductory speech. Head of the British-Azerbaijan inter-parliamentary relations friendship group, member of the House of Commons of the British Parliament, Bob Blackman, previously congratulated our country on the Victory in the 44-day Patriotic War. He also emphasized the restoration and construction works carried out by our state in those areas. Stating that strategic relations between Azerbaijan and Great Britain are currently developing successfully, he also noted the importance of relations in the humanitarian field and the successful results of cooperation in the field of education.
Hasan Ismayilov, Deputy Minister of Finance of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, spoke at the event on behalf of the Azerbaijani delegation. He thanked Bob Blackman for his comments and the organizers for holding such an event. It was noted that today Azerbaijan-British relations are expanding in various fields, and the held high-level meetings also play an important role in strengthening our relations. Then, on behalf of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, Garry Carter, the organizer of the event, was presented with the painting "Hachadag" depicting the symbol of Nakhchivan.
The representatives from Ukraine and Kazakhstan were promised, and commemorative photos were taken at the end.

The next day, a dinner dedicated to the celebration of mutual partnership between the countries was organized with the participation of His Royal Highness Prince Michael GCVO, CD, a member of the British Royal Family, in St. James's Palace, which is considered one of the ancient historical palaces belonging to the Royal Family of Great Britain.
The meeting was attended by representatives of Azerbaijan, Ukraine, Kazakhstan and other foreign countries, as well as representatives of the British elite. A member of the British Royal Family, His Royal Highness Prince Michael of Kent, was introduced to the Azerbaijani delegation and had a short conversation. The Deputy Minister of Finance of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic presented him with the painting "Mumina Khatin's Tomb" and briefly talked about the history of the Mumina Khatin's Tomb, its being a world-important historical monument on the UNESCO list of protected cultural monuments and symbolizing the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic.
At the event, which coincided with the 15th anniversary of the activity of the ICFM organization in Eastern Europe, the guests were presented with diplomas for their contribution to the development of the financial profession as a souvenir.
