On November 22, 2022, a joint exhibition of professional and young artists was opened under the slogan "Shusha! You are free" in the exhibition hall named after B. Kangarli of the Union of Artists of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic within the framework of the "Year of Shusha". All genres of fine art, including decorative applied art, were exhibited at the exhibition. The memory of our martyrs, who died for the integrity of the homeland, was commemorated with a minute's silence. Chairman of the Union of Artists, honored artist of the Republic of Azerbaijan, member of the Culture Committee of the Milli Majlis, Ulviyya Hamzayeva announced the exhibition and gave detailed information about the nature of the exhibition. Honored artists Javid Ismayilov, dean of the Faculty of Arts of Nakhchivan State University, Habiba Allahverdiyeva, vice-rector of Nakhchivan Teachers' Institute and other guests made a speech at the event, and at the end of the speeches, Major Zamanov Bahruz, an officer of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Azerbaijan, read his poem about the 44-day Patriotic War. In the exhibition, 44 works were exhibited as a symbol of the 44-day Patriotic War. At the end, the exhibition was viewed and a commemorative photo was taken.
