"Nakhchivan - the cradle of humanity" was the opening event of the VI International Painting Festival.

At the event, Ulviyya Hamzayeva, Chairman of the Union of Artists of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, Ganira Pashayeva, Chairman of the Culture Committee of the Milli Majlis, Tural Rzayev, Deputy Head of the Department of Humanitarian Policy Issues and Work with Public Organizations of the Supreme Assembly of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, Hasan Karimov, the Deputy Minister of Culture of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, Hasan Karimov, the Chairman of the Azerbaijan Artists' Union deputy Agali Ibrahimov spoke. Chief of Staff of Jahan Holding Azer Jafarov and Marketing Manager Talat Alizade took part in the opening event.

It was noted that the state culture policy founded by Great Leader Heydar Aliyev is successfully continued by President Ilham Aliyev. Fundamental reforms are regularly carried out in this field, and the preservation of our national and moral values is kept in mind. It was reported that the VI International Painting Festival "Nakhchivan - the cradle of humanity" is dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Great Leader Heydar Aliyev. About 60 artists from Azerbaijan, Turkey, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Georgia, Ukraine, Bulgaria, Russia, Finland and Latvia participate in the festival. Besides being a significant event for our culture, this festival opens wide creative opportunities for artists.

During the creative period of the festival, the guests were served cool drinks, tea and coffee by Cahan holding.

At the opening ceremony of the festival, music and dance samples were presented by the cultural collectives of the autonomous republic.

Then the participants watched live the activities of the artists before the creative part.
