The annual report of Nakhchivan artists was held

The annual report of the Union of Artists of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic was held in the exhibition hall named after Bahruz Kangarli.

At the event, the memory of Great Leader Heydar Aliyev and our heroes who sacrificed their lives for the restoration of our territorial integrity was commemorated with a minute of silence.

Ulviyya Hamzayeva, the deputy chairman of the Culture Committee of the Milli Majlis, the chairman of the Union of Artists, opened the event and talked about the work done during the past year.

It was noted that in 2023, the works of Nakhchivan artists were exhibited at domestic exhibitions and events, as well as abroad. During the past year, artists made their contribution to the culture of Azerbaijan in the remarkable events held within the framework of the festival-congress "Return to Western Azerbaijan" held in the city of Nakhchivan on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the National Leader Heydar Aliyev.

Later, MP of the Milli Majlis, executive director of the Youth Foundation of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic Jabi Guliyev, deputy of the Supreme Assembly of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, member of the union Habiba Allahverdiyeva, member of the Union of Young Artists Fargana Seyidova spoke about the state's care for artists and the work of Nakhchivan artists in the development of our modern culture.
