On the occasion of March 8 International Women's Day, an exhibition called "Heroic Woman" was held

In the Exhibition Hall named after Bahruz Kangarli of the Union of Artists of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, an exhibition-event called "Heroic Woman" was organized for martyred mothers and wives on the occasion of International Women's Day.

First, the dear memory of our heroes who lost their lives in the struggle for the territorial integrity and sovereignty of our Motherland was commemorated with a minute's silence. At the event, the deputy chairman of the culture committee of the Milli Majlis, the chairman of the Nakhchivan Artists Union, Ulviyya Hamzayeva, congratulated the martyred mothers and expressed gratitude for the bravery of their heroic children. It was noted that the state pays great attention and care to the families of martyrs, war veterans and veterans. President Ilham Aliyev identified solving the problems of this vulnerable group as the number one task for all state institutions. Deputies of the Supreme Assembly of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic Aida Allahverdiyeva, Aida Jalilzade, Honored artists of the autonomous republic Habiba Allahverdiyeva, Hamza Sadigov spoke at the exhibition-event. Ragib Huseynov's mother Rana Huseynova and Veli Guliyev's mother Haqikat Guliyeva expressed their good wishes from the families of the martyrs. Children performed poems and musical numbers at the event. At the end, the Union of Artists presented letters of thanks to the mothers of the martyrs, and there was a viewing of the exhibition. It should be noted that 40 works of 24 artists are displayed at the exhibition, which will last for a week.
