A scientific-practical conference on the topic "The Creativity of Mirza Gadim Irevani in the Fine Arts of Azerbaijan" was held

With the joint organization of the Union of Artists of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, Nakhchivan State University, Nakhchivan Branch of ANAS, Nakhchivan Teachers' Institute, West Azerbaijan Community and the Union of Artists of Azerbaijan, a scientific-practical conference on the topic "The Creativity of Mirza Gadim Irevani in the Fine Arts of Azerbaijan" was held at the B. Kangarli Exhibition Hall, dedicated to the 200th anniversary of Mirza Gadim Irevani, in accordance with the Decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
Before the conference, a minute of silence was observed in memory of the Great Leader Heydar Aliyev and those who died in the battles for the integrity of the territory, and the Anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan was played.
At the scientific-practical conference, the chairman of the ANAS - Nakhchivan branch, academician Ismayil Hajiyev, and the rector of Nakhchivan State University Elbrus Isayev made a detailed speech about the importance of the conference.
Then, the moderator of the conference, art critic Nizami Aliyev introduced the course of the conference and announced the program.

The associate professor of Nakhchivan State University, PhD in musicology - Sevda Khalilova "The stages of the work of Mirza Gadim Iravani" made speeches.
The conference was attended by representatives of the media, deputies of the Milli Majlis of the Republic of Azerbaijan, deputies of the Supreme Assembly of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, the Consul of the Republic of Turkey in Nakhchivan, members and employees of the Kamil Aliyev Carpet Museum, the Azerbaijan State Art Gallery, the Literature Museum, the Bahruz Kangarli Museum, and the Nakhchivan Artists Union.
