On May 19, the B. Kangarli exhibition hall of the Union of Artists of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic hosted a solo exhibition of Khadija Aslanova entitled "Kata's Granddaughter", dedicated to the 103rd anniversary of the National Leader Heydar Aliyev, within the framework of the Year of Urban Planning and Architecture 2026.
Opening the exhibition, Ulviyya Hamezyeva, Chairwoman of the Union of Artists of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, Honored Artist, Member of the Milli Majlis, emphasized the state youth policy in Azerbaijan, the active participation of youth in the development of society, and the strategic state priority of the state that provides for youth and creates conditions for their comprehensive development. She provided extensive information about the essence and author of the exhibition and congratulated the young artist.
Then, Deputy Executive Power of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic Gulkhanim Orujova, Head of the Regional Department of Culture Azer Jafarli, Director of Art School No. 2 Jeyhun Suleymanli, Teacher of the Drawing Club of that school Nizami Mammadov, Member of the Board of the Union of Artists, Honored Artist Telman Abdinov made speeches and congratulated the young artist. Khadija Aslanova and her family made speeches and thanked the organized exhibition and the guests for their participation.
